I don’t know
about you but… for me it’s that time of year where life is absolutely
crazy! It’s hard to believe that in a
month we will be in South Africa. And it’s
really hard to believe it when there are so many things to do right now! If you’re in school right now I’m sure you
are either in the midst of exams or they are quickly approaching. During this time I know I struggle to find my
time with God, but I’m making it my top priority (over studying!) to spend my
time with God each day. I know how easy
it is to get caught up in studying/sleeping and repeating the cycle every day. But I hope to encourage you to no matter
what, still take some time each day to spend with God. It will definitely help relieve some of the
stress of life! It’s what God is there for!
He wants to take our burdens, and he deserves to come first in our lives
no matter how busy we are!
“Don’t worry about anything, but pray
about everything. With thankful hearts offer
up your prayers and requests to God. And
the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
“Do you not
know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives
strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even
youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those
who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah
40:28-31
