So this is where the big trip starts this summer. I’m leaving today from my home in Colorado to get on a bus to spend a long 36 hours (not the first time) on the open road to Georgia! Now that the day has come to go I am really excited to start our work for the summer. But I still got to get there. I have always enjoyed traveling and God willing will continue to travel. I have Isaiah 40:31 tattooed on my foot which reads, “But those who believe in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” This verse has always lifted my head whenever I’m down, but then again when I read it it’s on my foot so I have to look down which will eventually result in my head going back up. anywho. Everyone has been working hard to get prepared for our adventure and will be working even harder when we are on the field. For me, I just feel good about having everything ready and knowing today is the day. I’m not going to lie, I’m super excited to get the ball rolling for the summer.  I know that with the strength of God our team will change lives while God is changing our lives. I’m just looking forward to how God will change my life, again.
