The beauty of the Lord is amazing. I’ve never been more touched than by the little moments in life. Then by friendships that touched my heart. Friendships that motivated me. By holding little children, innocent and sweet. By a sweet word someone said. All these are beautiful glimpses of God’s glory.

I found a glimpse of God’s glory at Yosemite National Park. There was nothing more beautiful on this earth, than the snow encrusted mountains, the crisp blue sky, the calm, the quiet, and the roaring, ravaging waterfall. I sat there, on the ground, watching Nevada falls, watching the pounding, the pulsing, my heart was beating so fast; the beauty of it was mesmerizing. The Falls were fantastic; so powerful; and yet….at the same time, so peaceful.

Tears welled in my eyes at the beauty of it. It is one of my most treasured memories, the week I spent in Yosemite. My friend, Brandy, passed away last night.   None of you knew her, she has no ….significance in your lives except that she was connected to me.  All I can think of right now, is the beauty of Yosemite, and how I thought, Heaven must be so much more wonderful than Yosemite, but even in my heart, Yosemite was so beautiful I couldn’t help but think I was seeing a glimpse of Heaven. All I can think of …is she’s in Heaven. It was time. She lived her life in pain, in lonliness, without family – her only comfort were her friends and Jesus. And last night? She was finally able to breathe for the first time in her life; and I know today, she can walk and not feel pain; no more meds for her, no more cocktails of pills taken religiously every hour….I am so overjoyed for her.

I just want to thank all you for your prayers; it means a lot; she wasn’t in pain. And I dunno, I just thank you all for any prayer that you’ve done.
